Mel Chin creates works that often require multi-disciplinary collaborations between the artist, students, scientists, and government agencies. With an interest in reclaiming our environment from pollution, Chin believes that art and science can work together for the betterment of the earth. In The Flag of the Agricultural Revolution, Chin has placed, in the upper left corner of the work, poisonous plants that are traditionally used for healing.
