Garrett Phelan was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1965. He uses found objects, wall drawings, sculptural installations and broadcast radio to create expansive works that he titles in series according to both subject and mode of enquiry. Phelan chooses to incorporate radio broadcasts into his work in order to explore the processes through which values and ideas enter society. Phelan lives and works in Dublin, Ireland.
