RxArt, a non-profit organization dedicated to placing original fine art in patient, procedure and examination rooms of healthcare facilities, has announced the opening of its Pop-Up Shop at 208 Forsyth Street. Running November 3-6, Between the Lines Volumes II and III will be 50% off for four days only, as will Dan Colen, Yayoi Kusama and Terry Richardson puzzles. RxArt PARTY T-shirts will also be available. The shop will also have original works for sale by Will Cotton, Lawrence Weiner, Kon Trubkovich and many other artists. Oh, if you’re interested in getting your hands on one of James Franco’s framed set of five Polaroids, well, you’d better bring the Amex black card because it’ll set you back a cool $8,000 a pop. But hey, it’s for a good cause, right?
